Simple fix or what?

I'm annoyed with the SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE icon in the systray when using SATA drives instead of IDE as C:/. Am I overlooking a simple way to hide it within XP pro?

This ought a clear it up for you:

1. Right Click Task Bar > Properties > Customize

2. Find the item called "Safely Remove Hardware" and change it's behavior to "Always Hide" :niterider
