something along the lines of Campbells hit on Umberger last year to spark this team, because right now I really feel like we are playing to the level of the Islanders and we just need something to spark this team. I'm not saying we are playing bad hockey or anything, but considering its the playoffs I definately think there is a level of intensity we still have to hit if we are going to seriously compete for the cup this year. lets go sabes!

Smythe's goal at the end of the 2nd might have been it. The sabres were flying in the 3rd and controlled the pace and tempo of the 3rd period. I still got nervous as hell everytime that puck came into our zone, but overall we dominated them in the 3rd. Now hopefully they carry that over, and I expect they will, if they know whats good for them. They cannot relax against this team. They pretty much neutralized DP's clearing passes last night, now they need to put pressure on and take advantage of their slow D-men.

Same here. I don't care how pretty or ugly they are, just that they get the win. When it's all said and done, nobody remembers how it happened anyways.

I think the 3rd period was the momentum changer. Isles ended the period really high and couldn't get much after. Keep the pressure on and we're fine.

I think that a big goal or hit would do the team well, but so far i'm not too worried. Were up 2-1 and soon to be 3-1.

I thought Miller was the shot in the arm we needed in period 1. Gave the team confidence to be more aggressive in the offensive zone. I mean we out shot them 17-2 I think Buffalo has made the adjustment needed and will continue to take ove the series.
