104 to 75
We've outshot them by 29 through 3 games. Our guys are putting the pucks at the net, they've just ran into some very good goaltending.
At least thats what I think.

Holding them to 2 shots in the 3rd period really helps a stat like that.

I thought that third period last night was as close to domination as I've seen.17-2 shots on goal I mean that was a focused period.

The third period last night could very well be the turning point of the series. Ryan Smyth scored at the end of the second, and it was obvious the Islanders were regaining confidence, but the Sabres completely squashed their hopes in the last 20 minutes.
That neutralization of the Isles in the third was the stuff champions are made of, and it will propel the Sabres into Wednesday night.

Interesting. I think Adam Mair turned the series in 1 shift with a bone crushing hit and a goal immediately after.

I picked Adam to score 1st.
It was great to see him send the 1st message as well.
What a great pass and deflection.
That's the way we gotta do it against this goalie.
Go Sabres
