Doug Flutie starts Viagra Distribution Business
Associated Press: Doug Flutie, starting National Football League quarterback with the San Diego Chargers, has announced a new joint venture with Pfizer to market and sell their male impotence drug Viagra. The deal, worth an estimated $2 billion, includes a new packaging strategy and online marketing campaign. "People think just because I have big feet I don't use Viagara. I am here to give you the confidence that many men use viagra...it could be your boss, barber or sports figures--other than Mark Martin who is just plain old" Says Flutie. In the next month, Pfizer will begin to run adds of Flutie's feet in leading periodicals such as "Woman's Day", "TV Guide" and "Parenting" along with a new Flutie Does Viagra insignia. Consumers will be able to log on to www.flutiedoesviagra.com and order the drug via the Internet and it will also be carried with the new packaging at your local CVS Drugstore. When asked to comment on the new deal, NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue stated, "I have no problems getting it up so get off my back" and declined further comment.
