The 911 Mystery Plane
First in a Series
Mark H. Gaffney
4-5-7
On September 11 2001, as the eyes of the nation were focused on the gruesome events at the World Trade Center, the networks interrupted their coverage in New York with a breaking story from Washington. A large plane had just been sighted over the White House. Exactly when it first appeared is not certain, but the reports aired at about the time of the pentagon strike, or just before. Witnesses who saw the mystery plane say it circled over Washington. CNN's Senior White House correspondent John King saw it while standing in Lafayette Park, directly across from the White House. King reported live that "about 10 minutes ago, there was a white jet circling overhead. Now, you generally don't see planes in the area over the White House. That is restricted air space. No reason to believe that this jet was there for any nefarious purposes, but the Secret Service was very concerned, pointing up at the jet in the sky."[1]
Kate Snow, another CNN correspondent, was standing two blocks from the Capitol when she saw the plane. Snow mentioned it on-air, adding that a security guard told her it was responsible for the decision to evacuate the seat of government.[2] In his book Against All Enemies, counter-terrorism czar Richard A. Clark mentions that the decision to evacuate the White House was made after a warning from the Secret Service about the approach of an unidentified aircraft.[3] Was this the mystery plane? ABC, NBC and FOX News picked up the story on 9/11. CNN actually filmed the mysterious plane as it flew over the Capitol, but, unfortunately, it was too far away to identify.

9/11 is the greatest crock in the history of this country. I'm so frustrated by the obvious and blatant factual errors in the "official" story that i don't even have the energy to type anything on the matter.

Even more interesting is the C-130 that was in the air over the Pentagon when it was struck and then flew west and by the most amazing coincidence was in the air over Shanksville when FL93 "went down".

Uh, sorry but I live about five miles from MCI (we call it KCI) and so I see lots of jet liners begin their final approaches to the airport and I have never seen one that was all white. Those photos of the plane over the capitol dome and downtown Washington look cropped and altered. I have never seen a plane look just like a white silhouette as depicted in those pictures. As for the pentagon plane, well I asked a few aviation profs and a few physics profs at my alma mater (they hold seminars each anniversary of that awful day) and their evidence supports the official and probable line of a plane flying into the pentagon and causing the exact damage it did. I am no expert on this but damn it I will trust someone with a PhD in Physics before I trust some moonbat with a plethora of blogs. Anyways the government story, except the its Clinton's fault and we didn't know, checks out. I guess I am a victim of Achem's razor but I refuse to believe a government that couldn't conceal it s wiretapping of private citizens, its secret EPW camps in Eastern Europe, and the Pat Tillman case to name a few could pull off a major coup like this. Sorry but too much had to go right for the government, if they had a plan, to go right.

Oh and for that "airplane" what is the blue in the silhouette? It looks very transparent and as for the three second clip, 1) that thing looks too far away for you to clearly ID what markings are on the plane and 2) Did you ever hear of stock footage? Yeah, documentary makers love using stock footage and I am willing to risk my reputation by saying that airplane is from bona fide footage, but bona fide footage from the 1980s. Its too grainy and too far away to distinguish any markings whatsoever and that might be a Pan Am plane in vintage footage.

now compare this plane, an American Airlines 757, to the plane in post 10 and consider that if it was in the sun silver would be bleached white to the eye and camera lens, the tail config is right and the logo appears to be at the correct height. Also their appears to be a ribbon ad the appropriate level and the shape of the nose does not appear to be too different.

Don't lend credence to this nonsense. It's the "lie told big enough, often enough" strategy.
There is more to it than supposedly "getting to the truth". The truth is not relevant. It's the effect of this big lie that is more important to them.

You read selectively. I cant help that. That's not a personal jab, 99% of people are the same way. Some of us try to eliminate that more than others.
Gibby is arguing that X cant be A because X might be B among other things (or maybe X cant be A because I see Q and its never P!). How is pointing that out a liberal tale?
If logic is a liberal value then call me liberal.

You've got it backward. Liberals push for change and progress, conservatives fear the uncertainty of the future and push for the tried and the true. All progress depends on liberals, all tradition depends on the memory of conservatism.
We all have both aspects, one predominates.

I am expressing doubt about that airplane picture being a military plane. I am saying the argument in this article is not supported by the airplane at the new angle because it is too far away for one to 100% identify it. The markings look like they could be an American Airlines plane and the shape of the plane looks like a Boeing 757 (I am sorry with your brilliance that you are ignorant enough to buy into this bullshit). The pics I posted look like that airplane and are to show that the pic of the plane at angle does not support the conspiracy nut argument.
As for the planes above the whitehouse and capitol building, why do they look hollow and more like ghostly apparitions than airplanes? They look cropped and phony. I've seen UFO pics that look more legit, but if you wish to give in to the forces of stupidity thats up to you.

1) This administration which couldn't cover up plame gate, Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, KGB prisons, Haliburton embezzlement, wiretaps, et al could make a plane disappear and get a military aircraft, which might be a helicopter, which also happens to be a missile (covering all ground here) to hit the Pentagon. If the government used four military aircraft don't you think there would be a leak. Come on man there are lots of military people who have shown great discontent to el presidente and they have come out against him. Remember the generals and white house staff who say Bush planned Iraq even before 9/11 don't you think something this devilish would be too damn hard to cover up? Also, if the planes were military what the **** happened to the passengers?
or
2) Using a flawed and extremely corrupt and tangled bureaucratic government against itself 19 men from Saudi Arabia got into this country and were able to get flight training because of governmental incompetence and were ultimately able to kill more than 3000 people because we had a BA which did absolutely nothing to act on intellegence and info received months and weeks before its attack (keep in mind that 2 is unforgivable and is prosecutable as criminal negligence)

The main charge I see is that the government clearly could have shot down the plane over DC, and not only did it hit the Pentagon, but they lied about being able to shoot it down in the official story.
From there, all you have to look for is motive. Legally acquiring space weapons is the biggest motive for the military to attack its own country, if you ask me. We now have legal space weapons.

This is from the Jeff Rense website I see.... I purchased a so-called "documentary" made by Jeff Rense a few years back and this guy is a TOTAL crack pot. He actually tries to make the connections between 9/11 and the "Skull and Bones"? He also stated that the airliner fired a missile into the tower and that planted explosives were in the building on his video. Does this look like just random observations turned into a hundred different theories to anyone else? I agree that the official story has got HUGE holes in it, but c’mon! I heard this guy say he thought "robotics" took over the plane and flew the plane into the buildings. This guy has all this UFO crap on his site to, are any of you REALLY thinking this goon is credible? Also, saying that it was a military plane pretty much eliminates the theory that the government did it to fcoax the American public into a war right? I mean honestly, if they wanted to get the American public all worked up and ready to fight you think they would use a military aircraft? REALLY, who has balls that big?
