islam has a major problem in that it is the current religion to be hijacked to justify slaughter. i dont know how big it is but with six billion muslims even one percent would be a huge number so lets just call it huge

i am still convinced that the overwhelming majority of muslims are horrified at the use of violence and want nothing to do with the extremist movement

we have discussed many times the disconnect between the 'good' muslim community and the public, that for some reason the many declarations coming from muslims separating themselves completely from the radial elements is virtually ignored

the muslim community would be very smart to start their own 'mosque register'. it would officially announce the status of their particular place of worship and include references from high profile people who visit and comment on their organization

ive been thinking about this for a long time and so far the only good reason i have come up with why it hasnt happened yet is by publishing such a record they might become targets themselves

well i hope thats not it cuz i would just say have some freakin balls. the black churches have been getting fire bombed for decades and they still stand up for christ

sigh maybe thats not it either but something is going to have to be done. i can feel the rise of islamophobia and frankly the muslims still havent done enough to really force the issue and make sure people understand their stance
