Antero Nittymaki
Simon Gagne
Mike Richards
Jeff Carter
Ben Eager
RJ Umberger
Scottie Upshall*
Joni Pitkanen
Lasse Kukkonen*
Alexandre Picard
Braydon Coburn*

Traded For:
Brad Richards
Alexander Radulov
Dustin Penner
Mattias Wienhandel
Kyle Wanvig
Cam Barker
Ladislav Smid

*= Acquired By Philly on or before trade deadline

I'm not a horrible team, but I'll post my roster anyway. I won the Cup in my first season with the Sabres, and I'm up 3-0 in the ECF right now, on the verge of another title in NHL 2k7.

After I first won the Cup, the only player I acquired was Vinny Prospal in exchange for Marty Biron.

Other than that, I let Hecht and Lydman sign elsewhere.

Lines:

1 (Superline) - Drury-Connolly-Briere.

2 - Afinogenov-Roy-Vanek.

3 - Pominville-Gaustad-Prospal

4 - Mair-Gaustad again-Paille

Defense...

1 - Tallinder/Campbell

2 - Kalinin/Spacek

3 - Numminen/Paetsch

Goalies...

Miller, Tellqvist.

Pretty close to the current team, but I've got a ton of free agents to either sign or let walk after the season: Drury, Tallinder, Vanek, Roy, Kalinin, Spacek.

Update: I swept the Panthers to advance to the Cup Final versus Anaheim. Should be a good series.

The Panthers? Wow. In my Dynasty, the Ducks have had the worst scoring offense and has had a top 5 pick every year.

This game loves the Panthers. I've beaten them two straight years in the playoffs.

Here's an update on my team entering Year 3. It's far different...

Lines:

Briere-Connolly-Afinogenov

Zubrus-Drury-Pominville

Prospal-Sean Avery-Kotalik

Mair-Marty Reasoner-Paille

Defense:

Tallinder-Campbell

Aaron Ward-Jay McKee

Paetsch-Mikko Lehtonen

Goalies:

Miller, Conklin

Therefore, after winning Cup No. 2, the following departed via free agency...

Derek Roy (Columbus), Thomas Vanek (San Jose), Teppo Numminen (Retired), Jaro Spacek (Colorado), Dmitri Kalinin (Dallas), Mikael Tellqvist (Not sure).

And I added...

Zubrus, Avery, Conklin, Reasoner, Ward, McKee and Lehtonen to replace them.

Wild stuff.

I don't play on week days, only on weekends

NHL 07 Sabers Season 1

Lines:

Vanek - Drury - Afinogenov
Connolly - Briere - Zubrus
Hecht - Roy - Pomminville
Martin Erat - Gaustad - Stafford

Campbell - Tallinder
Kalinin - Spacek
Lydman - Numminen

Henrik Lundqvist - Conklin

Oddly enough I traded for Conklin before he actually became a Sabre. Miller went for a 1st and I was starting Biron, but then I traded him to Philly for their 2nd and traded my 1st to the Rags for Lundy.

Right now I am 41-21-4, in 4th in the East. Ottawa leads all teams with 97 points in 68 games.
