Pilot crashes plane into house of in-laws
INDIANAPOLIS: A pilot and his eight-year-old daughter were killed when their small plane crashed into his former mother-in-law's house near a southern Indiana airport.
According to Indiana State Police spokesman 1st Sgt. Dave Bursten, preliminary crash investigation suggested that it was “an intentional act.”
Forty-seven-year-old Eric Johnson and his daughter Emily were killed in the crash which happened near Bedford.
Johnson's ex-wife, Beth Johnson, went to Bedford police headquarters about 11:30 am to say she believed he might have abducted Emily, who did not attend school on Monday.
That was about 45 minutes after the Cessna crashed into the residence of Eric Johnson's former mother-in-law, Vivian Pace, Bursten said....
