I see all of the cement head beer leaguers have come out of the woodwork in the past couple of days and it didn't long before the "kill Neil" and "Ottawa must die" posts sprang up. I bet 99% of the thugs writing this stuff have never played anything more competitive than a high school or midget game. I'm sure from the context of these posts that most, if not all, have never been in a hockey fight either. It's rare that anybody gets hurt in a fight. In fact, out of the skirmish in Buffalo not a single guy got hurt. It's was mostly wrestling with many of the players laughing at the end. What does cause injury is devastating body checks and when it comes to bodycheckers Ottawa has far more than we do. Considering all the injuries the Sabres have, the last thing they should do is instigate a war tonight. What's to keep Ottawa from going after Briere and putting him out? Let's hope Lindy plays a nice, conservative, peaceful game. If Peters and McGratton want to go that's fine but the goal for tonight should be to come out with an injury free win.

Nothing better than simpletons throwing out the "you never played" ad hominem...

That said, I would LOVE to see Lindy totally ignore the crap from the other night and instruct our boys to play utterly clean. That could seriously **** up the OTT psyche and win us the game right there.

Why don't we just send him out in bubble wrap and allay your fears?

Come on, so our play is dictated on the concern about Briere being run at?

Sabres players in concert: "Oooooo, we better not score, they might come after Danny...ooooo".

Get it right. I said they never fought, not they never played. And why the simpleton comment? I'm just pointing out that it's tough to comment on a hockey fight unless you've actually been in one. Too many people are treating it like it's a street fight. It's not.
