On NHL.com, Sabres jerseys are (apparently) back in stock. In addition, they are selling the old school (3rd) jersey. The site says that the jerseys ship in 5-7 business days.

Anyway, just wanted to get the word out.

Go Sabres....

Has anyone ordered one of the old jerseys? I'm curious to see what the quality is. Is it exactly the same color as the one the team wears? Thanks in advance if you know.

There were a number of current blue and white blanks on the rack at the Sabres Store at the arena last night mostly all XL or XXL....$95 for replica, $220 for authentics..also a few vintage blues and whites.

They must have caught up with the custom orders

I ordered a (blue and white) CCM replica old style Sabres jersey from Icejerseys.com in October and the quality/color/logo were great. Sooo much better than my old replica Sabres jersey I bought in the 90s. CCM has come a long way in the quality of these jerseys

The CCM replicas on NHL.com appear to be the same offered by Icejerseys.com (the CCM logo (on the back/shoulder) and fabric are the same). Dont know if that really helps but I was more than happy with these new CCM replicas of the old Sabres jerseys.

Excellent! That does help. I remember those older jerseys and they were almost like (for lack of a better comparison) a big heavy T-shirt. I like the other type much better and just wanted to be sure before I spent the money since they are non-returnable.

Thank you for the help!

Yeah, the older jerseys were a complete joke---flimsy, the material got little sweater knots in it and it seemed like you could rip a hole in the fabric if you wanted to. It was completely apparent that you bought a "replica" and not a "real" jersey.

That said, the new CCM jerseys feel almost authentic (not as heavy) but a pretty substantial weight to them. One of my friends couldnt even tell that it was a replica. Plus the crest/logo is almost 2 inches wider than my older jerseys. Thus, if I wanted to buy another one, I wouldnt hestitate at all.

Thank you for the info -- that is exactly what I was talking about. I have no doubts now and will order my jersey tonight! Thanks again...
