I have to say I totally disagree with bigger nets. I love goals, but it's not like there is lack of scoring. Our boy Ryan Miller who is considered one of the best by some, lets in almost 3 goals a game. The Sabres and other teams are avg quite a lot of goals.

I just think with the new rules, the amt of goals being scored now is fine, but if every game is 7-6, it may get excessive, it isn't baseball....

not to mention some times i love long and plenty OT games in playoffs, its fun watching 3OT or more games sometimes, this may decrease due to bigger nets

Remember also: Raising the crossbar also raises the height which players can smack pucks out of the air. It's another effect that doesn't get a lot of press but can have an effect on the game. I say the league is great as is, what it needs is better game time atmosphere. Let the Upper-Bowl people come down in the later periods and fill up the lower deck

.

who the hell thinks miller is one of the best? some think biron is better on our own team.. but yea increasing the size of the nets cheapens records and alterns the game too much esp for the old schoolers..
