frankie scinta of the las vegas scinta brothers is my cousins dads brother who is frankies partner in the show. ive known them as long as i remember and used to go see them with my folks as a kid when they played in little dive nightclubs. ive been their guest in vegas many times and went to a private party where they played a big vegas wedding a couple years ago. i also jam with one of the guys sons, a really really cool guy and great guitarist

if you ever get to see them they are terrific. they are like the all-time best classic lounge act. they do many of the same jokes and bits they have done for forty years and its highly entertaining

anyway, frankie is singing the anthem at the leafs game tonite. man i wish i could hear it cuz he really belts out a tune

go sabres!

i met sean penn the other day. wtf, who cares? cousins, uncles aunt's brothers step son? are you serious? frankie sounds gay to me... but that's just me. and not that there's anything wrong with that. i have a gay great-uncle named frankie. anybody with an "ie' on the end is gay. but again, nothing to be ashamed of.

He didn't butcher "Oh Canada" - he was having mic problems throughout - you could tell he was still singing but the words weren't being heard - did a good job IMO for what we were able to hear. They wounded up giving him a new mic for "Star Spangled Banner".
