If I were King of America...

Here's what I'd do...in order:

1. Make killing your unborn baby a capital offense.

2. Torture and execute all the NFL referees. Bring back the scrubs.

3. Kill Saddam

4. Eliminate property tax. Right now you never truly own your land.

5. Eliminate the Personal Income Tax. This tax was only supposed to be temporary anyway! I would compensate by instituting stiffer tariffs and a national sales tax.

6. Round up all the illegal immigrants and give them a boat to sail away on.

7. Watch the NCAA championships since I could actually take a couple days off.

8. Declare that the Bills would always remain in Buffalo, that every Super Bowl would be played in Buffalo, and that Miami would play in Buffalo in December and January only!

9. Anyone caught hugging a tree would have to marry it and have sex with it.

10. SUVs would be the only vehicles allowed on the streets.

I knew a few illegal Mexicans from the pizza place that I worked for in college. They were the best people I ever met. Their only offense was living the American dream.

They are not stealing American jobs. What American would be willing to work 14 hours 6 days a week for $600?

About taxes - Like my good mexican friend once said, "Was do ju mean I don't pay taxes? I pay sales taxes every time I buy something." Plus, how much income tax are we losing from their meagar wages?

Clump, as far as the sales tax not working, i would also cut programs like the NEA and others that are against the constitution. Therefore, I would cut the cost it takes to run the country. A national sales tax WOULD work! But that would not be my only source of revenue...I'd also fine you 50 trillion dollars a year for being a dork. :D ;)

I don't agree with abortion for the sake of rectifying a mistake, but I do think there are some instances when it should be allowed. For example, I believe that rape vistims should have the right to choose. That's all I'll say on this.

And I'm sure whoever it was in your family went through the proper procedures to become citizens. I have nothing against Immigrants. The key word is ILLEGAL.

Have you stayed in a motel before? I've NEVER seen a happy motel maid! :D Did you ever think that if the illegal immigrants weren't taking up those jobs, maybe the hotel owners would have to pay a decent wage and hire an American citizen?

As for abortion in cases of rape or incest, sorry...but you'll never find a bigger hard-liner than me. I just can't see how that's the baby's fault. Killing the baby doesn't seem like it should be an option. There's MANY people waiting to adopt.

Then there's partial birth abotrion which is absolutely sickening. The baby is pulled halfway out of the mother, feet first, then the abortionist puts a vice up the mother and crushes the baby's head. The baby can feel this just as you or I could! Often times, the baby doesn't die right away and is killed AFTER it's pulled completely out from the mother. This is most often done in the latest stages of pregnancy. The abortionist who invented this procedure even said that it's NEVER necessary to perform a partial birth abortion because of the mother's health issues. It's simply the cheapest way...SICKENING!

These are just my views which are based on MY beliefs and not the beliefs of any party. I know some of them aren't very popular, but I appreciate the polite tone of these debates.

Whoa Take it easy....too Graphic for these pages........I agree, I hate it...esp when a women uses it as Birth control.....but if a women is Raped.....a man Brutally Rapes her and she becomes pregnant....I will never be able to expect a women to carry that seed in her for 9 months........I am a man and I can't comprehend what that would be like. Just plain awful.....No women should have to put up with that.

I hear you on this subject, but at the same time, the woman did not ask to be imprtegnated by a psychopath either. Why should she have to uproot her life and endure the mantal anguish of giving birht to a child she never asked for? It's tough here I think.

The answer is RU486. Even though harsh on the woman, it's the way to go, especially for rape victims.

I agree that abortion should be the very last option. In fact it's not an option for me. I like to think that I would carry the baby to term even if concieved via incest or rape. Before I had my first child I didn't realize what a big deal that is. I thought, "big tummy, a few stretch marks, no big deal." But pregnancy is so much more than than it affects every system in your body: circulatory, respiratory, digestive. It affects your skin, your hair, your teeth, your nails, your brain, your hormones (that's a biggie -- ask Andrea Yeats). It affects everything.

But I think the answer lies at the other end of the equation. Birth control is a wonderful thing. Free condoms for everyone (of course I don't think many rapists use them)
