Big Ten 2....SEC 0

[TRIPLE P]

After watching the SEC get beat twice by Big Ten teams yesterday I'm quite confident it will be 3-0 by next Tuesday.

All that "SEC Speed"....playing in the toughest conference in the nation...didn't seem to mean much yesterday....

Penn State vs Tenn..... Tenn couldn't stop the run, and morelli played his best game.... Just a crazy upset of a "Powerhouse SEC team" by a lowly Big Ten team......

Houston Nutt is a horrible coach, as I've said before.....but Wisconsin used thier passing game to beat Arky.....something Flroida couldn't do..... and Wisconsin shut down the Arkansas passing game more effectively than Florida could......

The game next Monday is looking more and more favorable as the games progress...sure Michigan blew it, but thats what Lloyd Carr does. Though UMJ would win, but not surprised they choked.

The SEC has hung its hat on being the best conference, but considering they haven't played anyone from out of conference its hard to gauge them......until Bowl Season.

Auburn squeaking one out against Nebreska.....not too impressed.....

LSU vs ND tomorrow is gonna be big...LSU is considered the 2nd best SEC team to Florida.....and I was under the pression that LSU would throttle ND..... now I'm not so sure.......

Why?

Because from what I've seen SEC speed is a myth, SEC size doesn't compare to the Big Ten....and SEC brains are non-existant.. (dumb plays in the Tenn game AND Arky game)

Conviniently ignoring the fact that the Big 10 is what, 2-4 during the bowl season?

Also, the "Lloyd Carr sucks, that's why Michigan lost" argument sure holds alot of water as well. Phillip Fulmer and Houston Nutt both suck, so that's why those teams lost. Fact is, I could sit here and say that Ohio State is not really that good because of what I saw USC do to Michigan, and could even stretch it to USC did X and Y better against Michigan than OSU did, therefore now I have more confidence on the 8th.

But I don't actually believe that, and I hate when people use that logic to compare teams. Congratulations on the two wins, I know that had the SEC won those two games, all the blowhards would be out in full force beating their SEC chests, so I can't blame you for starting this thread.

Michigan lost because they played bad, had a bad game plan, and couldn't cover USC's wideouts. They also are poorly coached.

Arkansas and Tenn are also poorly coached, and got punched in the Mouth by a couple of Big Ten teams.....

I don't expect either team to be poorly coached next monday...I don't expect a bad game plan from either coach......

I also don't expect that Florida can keep Ohio State from running at will, or Florida to be able to stop a spread attack that has been all but unstoppable this year.

The onus is on Floridas offense to keep up with Ohio States offense.... thats the story of the NC game..... Florida has yet to show any reason why they can.

I hardly think arky got punched in the mouth

pj hill was throttled, and stocco was pressured all game. arky lost because they are a poorly coached undiscplined team

they are as gooad as any team in the country. the oline and dline are very good and they have the second best back in the country behind mcfadded in felix jones. wow can those two play.

Then again, the system sucks. There needs to be a playoff. In terms of BCS, Michigan lost @ Ohio State and @ USC. USC lost against Oregon State and UCLA. Its just a stupid system.
