Star Michigan running back Mike Hart won't jump to the NFL, instead joining quarterback Chad Henne in trying to help the Wolverines win a Bowl Championship Series title.

"It just makes it that much easier for me to come back, for me to make my decision," Hart, a junior, told reporters. "Having Chad back made me want to come back. We came in [to Michigan] together and we want to leave together.

"We still have things we want to accomplish and it's a great feeling to know he's going to be back."

Hart finished fifth in this year's Heisman Trophy balloting following a season which saw him rush for 1,515 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Michigan (11-1) plays Southern California (10-2) in the Rose Bowl (ABC, 5 p.m. ET) on Jan. 1.

You forgot Jake Long.

We also have 2 of the best DB's comming in as freshamn next year.

3/5 of our OL comming back.

We lose 2 LB's, David Harris and Woodley will be hard to replace, but much easier if Alan Branch decides to stay. We do have a couple good DE's waiting for their turn.

Sure says a lot for the Ohio State defense then doesn't it? 39 points on the road and the guy "sucks".

I'm going to go bang my head against a wall now and pray for a Florida win.

Mike Hart had 21 points, we gave them the ball in Field goal range twice, and he scored a TD against the prevent in garbage time......

If Henne was better they may have won, Henne missed wide open guys a couple times.

A quarterback missed a wide open reciever? I've never seen that before!!!!!

The passing game was a large part of Michigans success this year and in that game. Henne is a good QB and Michigan will be either 1 or 2 in the preseason polls next year.
