The Chicago Shamrox notched their first ever pre-season win, 11-10 over the Buffalo Bandits in a scrimmage at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Six Nations, Ontario on Saturday. With the win, the Shamrox finish the pre-season at 1-0-1 after tying the Rochester Knighthawks last Saturday.

"I was really impressed with the way our guys played," said Head Coach/GM Jamie Batley. "We are really coming together as one cohesive unit. As an expansion team, that is one thing that we want to focus on in the pre-season and I couldn't be happier with where we are."

Game Notes: Goaltenders Brandon Miller and Derek Collins split time in the net, both giving up five goals a piece, Josh Wasson-McQuigge (4), Phil Montgomery, Cody Jacobs, Cory Leigh, Jason Clark, Carter Livingstone, Chris Panos and Matt Marshildon all had goals in the game for Chicago.

Eh whatever. Chugger didnt even play, and Buffalo scored twice in last 3 minutes to draw close then hit the pipe with about 5 seconds left.

Not sure what Bandits runners did or did not play though.
