IMHO the writing on the wall was there weeks earlier. They barely got past Canisius, Holy Cross, and Charlotte earlier this year.
Syracuse was ranked because they're Syracuse, not because they're good. I don't think this team will win the Big East and IF they make it to the Dance they'll be out in the first round.

You're right, they shouldn't be ranked.

But the only reason many teams are ranked in many years is because of their name. It's hardly just this year with SU.

I must say this hasn't been the best of starts for the Big East. Georgetown was also highly touted before the season and fell from the top 10 to all the way out of the top 25 after some early flops. Pitt was holding it down fine until they lost over the weekend. No shame in losing to another top 10 team on the road though.

Syracuse will be lucky to be a 8 or 9 seed come March.

Screw SU...I usually love 'em but Harris ruins it for me. Hopefully he fails out by next year

Pitt was beating creampuffs and struggling to do so before they got blown out in their first test of the season.
