He has a point about the power play, though, Grape. Nobody can deny that it's absolutely horrendous. Connolly's head can't heal soon enough. We need him.

my dad said the same thing, "give that flimsy, light-weight helmet a toss, and give connolly a real helmet"

at first, i didn't take it seriously, but the more i thought of it, the more i believe that he SHOULD have some sort of better helmet. i play hockey, and i know that hard impacts on the head can give me headaches, so maybe he should get a helmet with a thicker plastic covering, like a football helmet.

yes it would weigh more, but only by a little.

A Kelso helmet will not help, Schaefers hit was to his chin, the lights were out before he hit the ice. Don Cherry is right remove the thick plastic with no give on elbow and shoulder pads and you will see concussions go down.
