Sabres need to take advantage of PP that they are given.
They have been letting teams get away with too much (especially on Brierre). Time to make the teams pay when they commit penalties.

Great, it's one of Ryan Miller's off days. It could be a long night.

They got a goal on a sloppy clearing attempt. How many goals will it take until they take better care of the puck?

I dont get it...other teams can embarrass the HELL out of Ottawa...ona regular basis.
Somehow, we let them take us out. Sabres better convert this power play.

You need to score more on the PP. Take some pressure off Miller. Seems like the same argument game in and game out.

I think it's time for a roster shakeup. I wish Ruff didn't love Kotalik, he would be benched tomorrow if I was in charge of the team.

I HATE THE F'IN SENATORS!!!
Question: Has there been a single game between the Sabres and Senators in the last 2 years in which Ottawa isn't 'handed' a 2-man advantage which they inevitably convert?

A game break for you guys: Darcy Tucker hurt his hand blocking a shot against the Rangers.
Rangers are still taking a pounding, 8-2.
As for your PP, I can understand why you don't convert enough. Your team is about speed and hustle, catching teams in transition and having lots of depth. the PP is the exact opposite of those things. Keep it even strength.

I think the Senators purposely lose 4-5 games PRIOR to playing Buffalo, just so they can come out desperate and beat us.
We, of course, don't show up for the challenge.

I hope the Tucker injury is serious and career threatening.
And I am really sick of Kotalik on the PP.

Im thinking that PP was our chance to turn momentum and get back within one.
I used to be totally confident with the Sabres down by 2 with 8-10 mins left. But haven't been given good reason to believe they'll come back in the last oh, 15 games or so.

I figured you guy's would be interested in it for that exact reason. I figure they are just keeping him out because he doesn't need to be there. A broken finger at the most.
I feel like the better teams aren't winning tonight.

Well, that's it. I think Lindy has some tinkering to do with the team, especially with the powerplay. They can't afford to be complacent.

difference:
Ottawa PP:
2 of 4
Buffalo PP:
1 of 6
We need Tallinder back there on PK, and IDK whats wrong with the PP, but Lindy's description of it in a 'valley' doesnt even come close. Stop finesseing everything!@!@! Shoot the damn thing and don't hit Vanek or the other team on the way in = GOOD SCORING CHANCE

There are two ways to look at this.
Negative: we're headed for a slump and we've gotten lucky here and there.
Positive: we're in a slump, but we're still managing to get points.
Either way, I'd much rather have problems like this now than in May and June.

I think it's time for a roster shakeup. It was one loss after a 3-game (and 4 in 5) winning streak...
