DT: Jay Alford, Penn State

What do you think about him as a later draft pick? He plays DT for Penn State.

What I like most about him is he is quick off the ball and uses his hands very well


What I like least about him is he really isnt much of a run stopper



I think he fits the Bills mold of DT's in the area of size, system fit, and has improved his work ethic and Football IQ over time at PSU


Overall I wouldnt mind him at all as a second day draft pick if we havent picked up a DT to that point

I believe there ranked 10th but dont quote me on that


I think collectivly as group they play well against the run b/c they have good gap control. Alford is decent in college against the run but at 285 he I can see him lining up over the Center and taking on blockers. I see him more as a 3 tech at the next level


I also like Dan Conner a lot. I think the kid is a player

After Connor puts some weight on he will be a stud. Sean Lee is also very good.
