View Full Version : I know it's a bit early, but now that we're out, where do we go in the draft?

What are our priorities? DT? I mean we just drafted McCargo, I really wish he didn't get injured.

We need to do something about the offensive offensive line. I was on yahoo this morning and I noticed something. The fewest sacks we have allowed since 2000 was 38 in 2004. In 2004 oddly enough we came to within a couple mistakes of a playoff spot. So we need to get a couple of guys on the offensive line, a good TE, and a big, mean, and fast NT who can plug up the D Line.

Right now we're in the #10-#17 pick range.

Team W L
Oakland 2 10
Detroit 2 10
Tampa Bay 3 9
Arizona 3 9
Cleveland 4 8
Houston 4 8
Washington 4 8
Green Bay 4 8
Buffalo 5 7
Miami 5 7
Pittsburgh 5 7
Tennessee 5 7
Philadelphia 5 6
Minnesota 5 7
San Francisco 5 7
St. Louis 5 7
N.Y. Giants 6 6
Carolina 6 5
Atlanta 6 6
N.Y. Jets 7 5
Cincinnati 7 5
Jacksonville 7 5
Kansas City 7 5
Denver 7 5
Dallas 8 4
New Orleans 8 4
Seattle 8 4
New England 9 3
Baltimore 9 3
Indianapolis 10 2
San Diego 10 2
Chicago 10 2

So, we're not gonna have a shot at the top-10, it looks like we're gonna be right in the middle of the 1st round which is probably a good spot for an OL or DL or TE. Hopefully Calvin Johnson falls our way, but I just don't see that happening (esp with Detroit picking #2  )

i dont think o-line is the biggest need anymore we need help stopping the run on deffence first the o-line is improving so we dont need to address it in the first round maybe in the second

They need help almost everywhere, but two problems stand out. The Bills can't run the ball offensively, nor can they stop the ball defensively. While I would strongly consider drafting a WR or TE even as high as R1, improving their performance in the running game must be the Bills overall offseason priority.

I think we need Two offnesive guards. Cut Gandy and Vill., keep Preston as a backup at both G&C. I also wouldn't mind them taking Long or Baker to play right tackle.
On defense they should let Fletcher go, cut Spikes as he's not worth the money in his injured state. With that they have to resign Clements. Why create another whole by letting him go. The secondary will be in good shape. They will need to draft two linebackers to go along with Crowell and Ellison. They need a run stuffing d-tackle but all I keep hearing is those run stuffing tackles "don't fit the system". Well thats bs imo. The system sucks then because we are gettting gashed every week.
