Tressel gets a vote in this thing. To be honest, some coaches don't actually vote - the AD does. r sometimes they let some random person in the athletics department vote.
But I'm quite sure Tressel AND his AD will take this vote very seriously. It could mean the difference of whom they play for the National Championship.
Tressel made a comment last night that he didn't know who to vote for because he didn't want to make one or the other (Michigan or Florida) mad before they have to play them.
If it were me, I'd do like a writer from Syracuse did a few years ago and actually split my vote in half. (He did it for the #1 spot). If I were Tressel, I'd vote like this:
1. OSU
(tie) 2. Michigan
(tie) 2. Florida
4. who cares?
They'd have to honor that vote and split the points.
Do you think he prefers one or the other and will vote that way? Or do you think he has a preference but doesn't want to share it? The vote does become public. What would you do if you were OSU?
