Dear range,

As the season winds down, and as exciting as the playoffs would be, it's not realistic. I have a few ideas that I'd like to throw out for a significant improvement in 2007:

1. since the run defense stinks, and clearly Tim Anderson is not the answer, could/should we try and trade for DT Albert haynesworth (for the right price-#3?)

2. Would/should we trade our #1 (probably around 12) to New England for their 2 # 1's. This might allow us to get a guard and lb/cb help.

3. Does Spikes go, for maybe a #4.

4. Re-sign LFB at mlb to delay that need for a couple of years.

Go Bills!

1. No don't like haynesworth besides Marv won't want him because of character.

2. I don't believe NE would do that. They tend to build team around draft to keep this dynasty going.

3. Spikes is our emotional leader on defense those he is not the same player as few years back

4. Yes. LF is still a good player on defense.

Our 1st round pick won't be high enough to move for much. Damn their recent success!!!!!

Though we do need to get better against the run, adding a big run stuffing tackle is not the answer for this defense. Our d is designed to stop the run with penetration, not gap control guys. Fletch should be re-signed and i wouldn't mind trading spikes, but it'd have to be for a lot more than a 4th rounder.

I agree with everyone except Taskerfan. I don't like the DTs too much in this draft and I'd want to draft a DE, not bring one in UDFA ie Rice, Rittzman, Where is that Tenn. Vol. DE?? Draft Mkristo. I think our DTs will come around once Anderson is out the rotation. McCargo and that foot should raise come concerns.
