Seeing no one else has the sack to put up a mock of their own, mine should be stickied everytime I update it.

I also should be dubbed "The Range's Mock Draft Grand Poobah".

Thank you.

1.) Detroit - Gaines Adams, DE Clemson - Gaines is a rare athlete, a total system fit, and a total team need for Detroit. With this guy lining up opposite of James Hall (the team's sack leader for the past couple of years) and Ernie Sims and Boss Bailey patrolling the linebacking corps, Rod Marinelli will have a personnel grouping similar to one he needs in order to run a dominant Tampa 2 defense. This is going to be a very good defense in the coming years.

2.) Arizona - Joe Thomas, OT Wisconsin - Talk about a team that would love to trade down, but they have the player they need sitting there and no one willing to give them a damn thing to move up into their spot, so they take the OT they're going to need once Leonard Davis leaves. I think he's over-rated at the 2 spot, but he should be a solid starter for years to come. BTW, this team has Reggie Wells (the guy the Bills signed to a tender offer last offseason) playing out of position at right tackle because their line is a total shambles. They also have Deuce from last year's draft finally starting at right guard.

3.) Oakland - Frank Okam, DT Texas - Save the bitching about this pick for someone who actually gives a shit Rangers. This is the smart pick for them. Brady doesn't fit Al's deep ball quarterback and Brian Brohm is a two year project. Winning, which we all know Al is all about, starts with defense. Add this guy to last year's draftees of Thomas Howard (this guy's a ****ing beast) and Michael Huff and this defense is on it's way to being rebuilt for the next decade. Great pick.

4.) Houston - Justin Blaylock, G Texas - Listen Rangers... You all don't know wtf you are talking about and I do. It's that simple, so stfu and read. Justin Blaylock is THE BEST offensive linemen in the draft this year. It's that simple. I'd love to see him lined up to Jason Peters next year, but unless we sneak into the top five, it just ain't going to happen. Justin can play any position on the line, but is best suited for guard. Last year's draft picks of Eric Winston (now starting at right tackle) and Charles Spencer (who was doing an awesome job at left tackle until he broke his leg) will put this line in a position to be dominant for years to come. Too bad their quarterback is gayer than JP Losman.

5.) Washington - Daymeion Hughes, CB Cal - Their secondary has a collective NO interceptions on the year. That's none!!! In lieu of Mr. Snyder asking for a re-do on the Champ trade, they're left to replace him. He's physical, plays like he loves football, and wants to dominate who he is playing against. Good pickup for Man-boob's defense.

6.) Cleveland - Alan Branch, DT Michigan - Total need + total system fit + coming from a big time program + a regional player = top ten draft choice. It's either Branch or Leon Hall, and then hoping that Lamarr Woodley lasts until round two for the Browns. Lamarr would be an ideal fit for LOLB with Willie McGinest as the tutor. I'm all about building strengths on a team and all about building defenses.

7.) Tampa Bay - Marcus McCauley, CB Fresno State - John Gruden will get one more year in Tampa. The Glazer's aren't going to give away millions just to "do something". That's smart too. What they should do is fire Bruce Allen and force another GM on Gruden, but that isn't going to happen either. Gruden will gamble his job on it... but that's a story for another time. Time to rebuild an aging D and the way Tony Romo picked them part, they are in sore need of reinforcements in the secondary.

8.) Tennessee - Calvin Johnson, WR Georgia Tech - Tennessee really wasn't expecting Calvin to drop to the the 8 spot. They we're planning on choosing between a new left tackle in Sam Baker or a new right tackle in Jake Long. When Calvin dropped to them, all the sudden their thinking changed. Calvin is the premier talent in this year's draft and gives Vince Young a go to guy.

9.) Minnesota - Brian Brohm, QB Lousiville - The slide stops for one of the three "premier" quarterbacks. Brian can learn behind Brad Johnson for a year and probably even get spot duty from time to time. He has all the "measureables" a quality quarterback should have. Now we'll see if he can make the jump from a JV conference (where he sat in the gun most of the time) to the pros.

10.) St. Louis - Ted Ginn, Jr., WR Ohio State - The "fast track" just sounds cool and I'm dying to find out how many times the clowns on ESPN use this term once this pick is announced. I've got my money on a baker's dozen over the course of the entire first day of the draft in respect to this pick.

11.) Green Bay - Leon Hall, CB Michigan - Again... Total need + total system fit + coming from a big time program + a regional player = (close enough to a) top ten pick. Building the Pack around a defense contniues to be a smart move, especially in the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.

12.) Miami - Brady Quinn, QB Notre Dame - Brady! Brady! He's our man! If he can't do it, Joey can! Joey! Joey! He's our man! If he can't do it, Daunte can! Daunte! Daunte... what a bunch of homos.

13.) Pittsburgh - Patrick Willis, ILB - It's about time that "The Chin" returned to drafting linebackers on a team famed for it's long history of great linebackers. Patirck couldn't find himself in a greater position to really learn how to become one of the greta linebackers of all time. I'm not saying that is what is going to happen, but this enviroment will help him acheive whatever he wants to.

14.) Buffalo - Victor Abiamiri, DE Notre Dame - Next to guard, left defensive end is the Bills #1 priority entering the offseason. Seeing Blaylock is no longer there, Marv moves to fill a glaring hole on the defensive front. Teams have consistently attacked our left defensive end in the running game all year long. We have two third down substitute type players sharing time as starters. Neither one is getting it done on a consistent basis and teams will continue to attack us there until we do something about it. Victor isn't the sexiest of picks but is the smart one. He is disciplined, polished and excels at standing up offensive linemen in the running game. He is also a total system fit and comes from a big time program. The other choice was Paul Posluszney, which would have been a good fit as well, but Marv did the right thing by me, which we all know is very important.

15.) Atlanta - Sam Baker, OT USC - Wayne Gandy is going to be heading into his 14th year and needs to be replaced at some point and Matt Schaub is going to need somone to protect his blind side once he's handed the reins of this offense. Mike Vick needs to go elsewhere for Atlanta to reach the next level.

16.) New York Jets - Quintin Moses, DE/OLB Georgia - Eric Mangini would like to switch to the 3-4 defense and this guy will help them do that. He's out of that Willie McGinnest, DeMarcus Ware, Shawne Merriman type model. Victor Hobson will shift inside along with Vilma and he'll be plugged into the LT backer spot. "Game on" up in New York.

17.) San Francisco - Laron Landry, S LSU - Mark Roman sucks and this guy is a blatant upgrade immediately. They could have used a CB but Laron's talent was too hard to pass up.

18.) Philadelphia - Troy Smith, QB Ohio State - Whoa! Donovan just got pwned. Sure, Troy needs to learn for a couple of years and who better to learn behind than Donovan, but the Eagles have become all about Donovan in recent years, in spite of what he tells the media. The Eagles organization is one of the brightest and most astute around and this pick, albeit risky in terms of locker room chemistry, is the healthiest thing for them and Donovan's career.

19.) Cincinnati - Jake Long, OT Michigan - With Steinbech on his way out the door and Andrew Whitworth waiting in the wings to fill that roll, the Bengals need to figure out what to do with the aging Willie Anderson. Enter Jake who should push Willie into rtetirement immediately.

20.) Dallas - Josh Bekman, G Boston College - His upside isn't as large as Levi's, but he will start at guard from day one and remain there until health or age catch up to him.

21.) New England - Aaron Ross, CB Texas - No player has climbed more than this guy. He'll also return punts for the Patsies. A great pick to join this rebuilding secondary. How come it seems like that every player that New England drafts in the first two rounds pays off big dividends?

22.) Carolina - Paul Posluszney, OLB Penn State - Aside from being a little undersized and a bit of a durability risk, this kid is nothing more than a complete football player. I've heard that he's a "poor man's AJ Hawk". I'm sick of hearing it, but it's also accurate. He'll start immediately for the Panthers.

23.) New Orleans - Amobi Okoye, DT Louisville - He'll make a nice addition to an already solid defensive front. New Orleans is the real deal and as long as Reggie Bush grows into the superstar he should be, and Drew Brees stays healthy, this team will be a fixture in the NFC playoff chase every single year for the forseeable future.

24.) Jacksonville - Marshawn Lynch, RB Cal - Finally the first running back is taken off the board. The group as a whole is solid if unspectacular. This guy is clearly the class of the runners this year though. Fred Taylor is getting older and is injury prone and Maurice Jones-Drew has two last names and is not an every down back. Marshawn brings speed to this offense.

25.) Kansas City - Marcus Thomas, DT Florida - Kansas City is taking over the AFC West badboys image that the Raiders once owned. This guy has trouble with a capital "T" written all over him, but he should blend in nicely with the rest of the mistriants in KC.

26.) New York Giants - Kenny Irons, RB Auburn - This team takes "best available" like no other team in the league, so here they go again. The pick makes sense to me as there is little depth behind Tiki to speak of. The Giants need to develop a dominant running attack to take the pressure off of Eli Manning.

27.) New England - Aaron Rouse, S Virginia Tech - Versatility and total playmaking ability. He can be the best player on the field at any given time and Bill Bilichick will find ways to showcase this kids talents. Be very afraid Bills' nation... this guy is a football player. New England just rebuilt their secondary with two picks sports fans. Looks like if we want to knock the giant off the top of the hill, we're going to have to stand up and punch them in the mouth... cuz he ain't gonna die anytime soon.

28.) Denver - Brandon Meriweather, S Miami - John Lynch is getting by on brains at this point. He'll need to be replaced sooner than later and Brandon would be a good fit for this team. A structured enviroment will do this kid good.

29.) San Diego - Jeff Samardzija, WR Notre Dame - This guy isn't going to be a home run threat. What he is going to do is take over as a third down/red zone threat to elleviate some of the pressure put on Antonio Gates. A precise route runner and consumate football player, you just know Phil Rivers is going to learn quickly how to use his talents.

30.) Buffalo (from Baltimore) - Tank Tyler, DT NCST - ROTFLMAO!!!! Buh-buy Timmay! Who cares what the rest of the world thinks... you just do your thing Marvo! All the sudden a defensive line rotation of Schobel, Triplett, Williams, McCargo, Abiamiri, and Tank doesn't seem too ****ing bad especially considering the speed we have behind them in Crowell, Whitner, and Simpson. If we can't play offense, we sure as hell better be able to play defense. A great draft for Marv.

31.) Chicago - Levi Jones, OT Penn State - This guy can make the switch easily inside or to right tackle and will help restock an aging offensive line.

32.) Indianapolis - Tanard Jackson CB, Syracuse - A classic reach in the greatest sense of the word. I love how everyone throws picks at CB's every year and none of them amount to a bag of shit. This guy is one of them.

Thanks man.

Blaylock is the most talented offensive linemen in the draft this year... regardless of position.

Okam is the best of what many are calling a poor DT class. I don't see the DT tackle class that way.

I think it's deeper than last years.

I don't think OT is as deep this year as I am seeing it called... at least as far as left tackles is concerned.

it may be deeper than last year's but lat year's was awful

there are 2 dts okam and branch, and then everyone else, and even branch is nothing specialtwo long runs were made right over him

I don't like abiaymiri(sp?) but I do see the logic of the pick, his pro day and combine will go a long way. there are soem really good sleeper de's who may or may not be around, it depends if the bills think esara falls to them, and from what I'm reading he won't be there when the bills pick in the second

I agree that mccauley and hughes both go before hall, hall is not the stud db people say he is. I think nelson sneaks into the first round too. He is a special player

there is no way that thomas is a first round pick

I disagree

Okam is good but I would take Glenn Dorsey, Alan Branch, Marcus Thomas, Ray McDonald and Tank Tyler over him.

Did you see Okam in the game against KSU he was getting absolutely blown off the ball all game by a guy that will be selling insurance at this time next year. I think he is nothing more than a run stuffing 3-4 DT and that doesnt fit the Raiders at all who if they draft a defensive player with there first pick should be removed from the NFL

As for Blaylock I dont think he is even the best guard in the draft let alone the best offensive linemen. Ben Grubbs is just as good and and in my opinion better than Blaylock.

I dont know, in the end its all opinion. Who knows if Okam will even declare

Grubbs has been underated all year

If we could get him in the second or third I would be really happy w/ that

If you think for a second that Tom Brady jr Quinn is going outside of the top 10 you're nuts. I see the Raiders blowing the rest of this year and securing him with their top 4 pick. I hope Paul Posluszny doesn't go in the 1st round so we can get him in the 2nd. I want him to replace Spikes or Fletcher in the next couple years, one of them will walk if not both. It wouldn't shock me if the Rutgers FB goes rather high for a FB because guys like him are hard to find, but I'd love to get him.

Bills should take Baker in the first, and Grubbs in the second (if he's still there)....and if they don't draft Troy Smith first

You're right that Tampa needs DB help. But they need a Safety much more than they need Corner help right now.

Will Allen and Jermaine Phillips may be (and I'm not exaggerating here) the two worst safeties I've ever seen in the NFL playing together. I mean they're awful.

And what did the Bills give up to get that second first rounder?

No, we don't have one right now.

But Coastal has us picking 14th and 30th (from Baltimore).

So, I'm asking him what we had to give up in his fictitious scenario.

Quinn going 12th ???? No way. He will probably go first to Detroit.
And for you guys who think Quinn sucks think again. quinn and Brohm will be the first two qb's taken and both probably go in top-5.

Quinn does suck.

Troy Smith is the best quarterback as far as on field performance and Brohm is the protypical measureable quarterback.

Brady Quinn is neither.
