I'm not sure if there is any truth to this, I just heard this word of mouth from a friend...
My friend has a female friend who was at Syracuse in 2002-2003. The female friend one night went home from a party or something and hooked up with Carmelo Anthony. When 'Melo finished the job, he said "that's 48, bitch" and then made her leave.
(I'm assuming that meant she was the 48th girl.)
