I am thankful that, so far anyway, I haven't seen a report of an American being killed in either Iraq or Afghanistan but at the same time, a Sunni attack on a Shiite district in Baghdad involving mortars and no less than 5 car bombs killed at least 161 people and injured 257 today. Certainly, the Shiites will respond.
Is there any doubt that if the Shia run the country, they will subjugate the Sunni just as bad as the Sunni subjugated them under Saddam? Is there any doubt that the Sunni would do the same if given the chance?
Partition. Its ugly, nobody likes it, nobody wants it but it is the only way other than installing a new Saddam. It happened in the Balkans and they are surviving.
These people are torturing eachother with electric drills and we expect them to form a unity government?
