I've had my eye on this guy for a few years (4 year starter). He's not reated very highly in this draft but I think he could be a sleeper. He is very very tough (played through a bad leg injury in a bowl game last year), really smart, and one of the strongest guys on his team. He's also a good athlete, pretty quick but that's also related to him being a bit undersized (very tall but less than 300 lbs.... listed 6'8'' 288) so who knows if he'd maintain it if he put on weight. He will be high on the draft charts of Denver, Atlanta, Houston, and other zone blocking teams. Leverage can be an issue as it is with a lot of tall guys. Plays right tackle which fits our need.
from his bio (http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/carnahan_andrew00.html)
ASU: Intelligent and tough athlete who returns for his fourth year as one of ASU's starting tackles...sturdy, resilient leader of an experienced Sun Devil offensive line who has earned a reputation for playing through pain and injury...has started every game in which he's played (33), the most starts of any current Sun Devil...started 29 consecutive games to begin his career...named to several preseason first-team All-Pac-10 lists...ranked as the 14th-best offensive tackle in the nation by Sporting News...regarded as the 16th-best tackle in America by Phil Steele...rated as the 12th-best offensive tackle to be eligible for the 2007 NFL Draft by ESPN.com...was recognized as a Hard Hat Player for his efforts in ASU's winter strength and conditioning program...is one of only 11 three-time Hard Hat winners in ASU history.
