i think we need to use our first two picks on lineman, maybe second and third, but imo our first and second, there are some really good linemen in the draft, i really like the tackle from michigan, number 77, and yanda, the tackle from iowa, but yanda will play guard in the nfl, yanda can play anywhere on the line but center, at least i have never seen him play center, he started at iowa as a guard, they moved him to tackle, then this year they moved him from right tackle to left tackle because of injury, what i am saying is that he is very versitle and that is what we need, so is number 77, i watched the osu and mich game last night and number 77 was tearing it up, they said he will b a first rounder, if u guys have any other lineman u think r good let me know, i really don't care who we get, as long as we shore up our line, until we do that, we will keep losing

I have to disagree I thought gholston played long to a stand off. Gholston is a sophmore and is a absolute beast.
I said elsewhere, if long, blalock, thomas, adams, and johnson are gone, I'd go troy smith, and grab some of the buckeye linemen in later rounds, kirk barton the right tackle for the buckeyes has been fantastic all year.

the next shane olivea?
I am amazed at how well he is playing as he wasn't that good at osu
but barton should go in the 4thg, 5th round, all those guys witht eh exception of datish, and he needs to coem back strong, will be 3rd to 5th even 6th rounders. but they are all big tough athletic lineman who really neutralized a very good dline, branch was in on two big plays and they ran right over him on both long td runs.
I'm ready for the bilsl to change their colors to scarlett and gray
buffalo buckeyes has a certain ring to it

I missed the 1st half of the OSU/Michigan game but I tried to pay specific attention to Long in the 2nd half. He certainly is built like a stud tackle and they tried to run most of the plays in his direction but he was beaten badly a number of times in the 3rd quarter in both the run and the pass.
I definitely want to address the o-line as our #1 priority this offseason. I wouldn't object to a star qb if we choose to cut JP loose but everything else needs to take a back seat until we fix the o-line. We went defense last draft when the offense had some holes, we need to go offense in 2007.
