Doesn't adding Sori and Lee complicate things? I know Berkman's going to 1st, but I thought Lane and someother stud were destined for the OF. Maybe Sori at 23nd? Plus biggio's coming back.

Those two aren't gonna sign with Houston. Houston is going down fast. Clemens won't be back and neither will Andy P. I don't see those guys signing there. They aren't a playoff team nor will they be in the near future.

No one asked for your opinion if they would be a playoff team. Just answer the question that was asked.

Wah. It's called an observation. I state a couple of reaons that those two won't sign there. Having a chance to get into the playoffs is one of the factors a player considers in free agency.

If you were looking at Houston as a player would you want to sign there right now? They are going to have a pretty bad rotation next year outside of Oswalt. Their bullpen isn't very good either. Offensively those two would improve the Astros lineup but it wouldn't be good enough to overcome their pitching.

There is also the issue of money. Houston cannot afford to sign both of these players even if they let Clemens and Pettite walk which everyone knows they will. One? Maybe. Both? No.

So the next time you get up into my grill pay attention to what was said a little closer.
