I was thinking the same thing. Negotiations will start in 45 days. I still think it's possible. Good players will take a bit less money in exchange for a good situation and longer term contracts.

That would be great, I dont know how it could happen but if we can pull it off somehow it would be a miracle

All we can hope is the players will accept less money to play on a winning team that has a legitimate shot at getting the CUP.

But then again players nowadays in all sports leagues are all about the money and not winning it all.

If we had to dump salary in terms of guys like Hecht or Kotalik to keep those 2 I'd be in favor of it.

I also would do what I had to to keep these two. I think that they elevate the talent around them. You can keep bringing up the Stafford's and Paille's to take the place of what you had to cut to keep these two.

Reegy's getting so much props from around the league now...

everyone used to bust Lindy and Reegy's balls non-stop, "oh they suck, they will drive this organization into the ground," "they will never build a winning team," etc., etc...

i think they know the solution and i think they will do what is best no matter what happens.

they will not unfortunately sign both. I wish they could!!!
