I was listening to an interview when Biron first got his mask back and he was talking about how it didnt fit quite right because he didnt have the pre-season to adjust the straps and the fit. He was talking about how the sight lines through the cage (when compared to his old one) wasn't quite right yet because of the whole adjustment process. It might explain the sub par play from Biron and maybe a reason for the switch back to the one he played through the preseason with?

marty was very good with some really spectacular saves tonight

thought he coulda stopped the first with perfect positioning but the second woulda been tougher

i think im spoiled with miller and his uncanny positioning. if youve ever played goalie you know it feels like youre leaving gaping holes so you try to cover as much as possible with your positioning but miller makes it look like hes got it all sometimes. ive said it before but ive never seen a goalie move as little as miller does. usually perfectly positioned

marty moves more and is a very good goalie but it feels like miller makes him look less so. i hope the other gms feel the same way

Good to see Drury score tonight...especially after he looked to be seriously hurt toward the end of the 1st period.

On the post-game show they say that Funk is cleared to play in Rochester and the Sabres have activated him to play tomorrow night. Mike Card will be sent back down...Lindy just doesn't have enough confidence in him yet. Can't wait to see Funk in action!
