Don't pick a party. What will happen is that you'll be defending a lot of nonsense that you know in your heart is wrong, feel foolish for doing it, and you'll be inconsistent. You'll be saying "congressman X screws little boys! Jail him". Then congressman Y from your party gets caught doing the same thing. Your response will be "Yeah but...."
As an indpendant I'll say "X and Y should be hanged"....

I'll join your party and get you elected Malevolant Ruler of All Things Worth Having if......
1.) I get .01% of all incomes.
2.) I am exempt from all laws.
Deal, Emperor JK?
And I'll keep you in power, trust me. I'll be grateful for that .01%.
Just make me Director of State Security and give me Gitmo as an operations center, K?

There was a "Rent is to High" party line where I voted. I am not sure where that came from, but there it was, just below the Green and Libertarian party lines.
I always registered in the party that wasn't in power. I liked being able to vote in primaries that mattered.

A ninja
exactly.... pirates suck, and are gay for dudes.
Ninjas take care of business, do chicks, and can pop like 1000 boners a day.

Coming to the Range for advice on politics or sex is like holding a wine-tasting on Skid Row.
You'll get a lot of interest, but very little expertise.
