I went to the super-duper multiplex in my town, expecting to see Borat last night, but apparently the dumb **** who buys the films for them didn't think it was worth their while.

So I went for a motorbike ride. There's still 6" of snow in the bush @ 2-3 miles north of where I live

Comedy is all about timing, context IS timing. You;ve seen clips without the proper context.

You could take the funniest joke in the world and say it at the wrong time at the wrong place and it's not going to be funny.

I'll concede Borat is not for everyone, but I do think you'd enjoy the movie, notwithstanding his promotional appearances.

I don't think the clips of him being interviewed by the Colmeses and Matt Lauers of the world are funny either. But the movie itself was riotously funny. Sasha Baren Cohen is amazing at uprooting the deep-seated prejudices of people, so the social relevance of the movie shouldn't be lost on anyone.

As soon as I get over my glaring online incompetence, I'll put a video of Borat on Ali G that you should watch. Maybe it will pique your interest, maybe not. In any case, the clip will be commensurate with what the movie is like; the promos are not.
