Albert is due for his first gold glove at first. I'm gonna be upset if he doesn't get it. MVP is a toss up but Albert deserves that gold glove!

Glad to see he got it. Rolen got his seventh as well.
Now let's see Carpenter win another Cy Young and Albert win another MVP!!!

He's played great defense ever since he got moved to first base a few years ago. This was overdue but it's nice that he finally got one.
I think he'll repeat as MVP too but Howard might win it as well.

BS that Jeter got the Gold Glove over Gonzo, especially since he commited twice as many errors.

Gimme a break. Gonzalez missed 51 freakin' games. Not Gold Glove worthy. Though I agree there could have been better choices than Jeter.

Chavez missed a ton of games and he won the GG. It's an award based on reputation, not merit.

Chavez shouldnt have got one and I dont think Gonzalez should have got one. Games played should be factored in

Well even though I'm a Cardinals fan I'm not really sure that Rolen should have gotten one at 3rd base. He made a lot more errors than he usually does. He had like 3 in one series against the Cubs.
But his name proceeds him so as long as he plays most of the year he'll win it.
