4-5 record and the homerism from the Ranger fans is laughable.

I go to school in Binghamton. Lots of NYers from bottom right of state(you know) go here. Last year it was "just wait till Henrik Lundvquist comes back from injury" which then became "I don't care they lost." etc.

Jagr is tough though, he tried to hit someone in the playoffs, and injured himself by missing, also got put on his can 3 times in Buffalo.

The Rangers were in what many consider a "must win" game with their backup goalie.. They were down in the 3rd period by a goal, and fought back to win the game..

Withstanding some amazing saves by Giguere.

Basically,the concept is that if an athlete appears on the show,he will have "good karma" with the Jungle. Those who stiff the show get "bad karma".

It may sound stupid,but anectodal evidence seems to indicate it works.
